A Reformation Perspective on Worship

At the recent WELS National Conference of Worship, Music, and the Arts, project director Michael Schultz delivered the keynote address. Entitled "The Sabbath Was Made for Man, Not Man for the Sabbath," the essay reviews key Lutheran worship principles. That essay is now posted on the hymnal project website in the resources section.

About Jonathan Bauer

Rev. Jonathan Bauer is the Communications Committee Chairman for the WELS Hymnal Project. From 2008-2014, Jonathan Bauer served as an associate pastor at Emmanuel in Tempe, AZ where his areas of focus were worship and outreach. He is a member of the Institute for Worship and Outreach and currently serves as pastor of Good News Lutheran Church in Mount Horeb, WI.
